Privacy

Updated 6 October 2026

This is my personal site as a photographer. It is run by me, Lenny Alvarez, and it collects as little as possible.

The short version: you can look at the whole site without giving anything. There are no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics that identify you. If you write to me through the site, the message goes straight to my own email, not into a database here.

Writing to me

The enquiry and print forms do not send anything to this website. They open a message in your own mail program, already filled in with what you typed, and you send it yourself. Your name, email, phone number and message then sit in my mailbox like any other email. I keep enquiries while we are in touch and for as long as I need them for work we agreed on or for tax records, and I delete them on request.

Cookies and storage

No advertising cookies, no tracking cookies, no cross site profiling. The site remembers one thing in your browser's local storage, the picture size you chose for the gallery, so the layout stays the way you left it. It never leaves your browser, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Analytics

There are no analytics scripts that build a profile of you. The hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting, as every web server does.

Fonts

The typeface is served by Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for the font file and Google sees your IP address in the normal course of serving it. No cookie is set by this.

Client galleries

Galleries of a shoot live on a private link that is sent to the client. They are not listed on the site and are not indexed by search engines. The photographs are the client's own, and a client can ask me to take their gallery down at any time and it comes down.

Who else is involved

Hostinger hosts the site. Google serves the fonts, and provides the mailbox that enquiries arrive in. Nothing is sold, rented or passed to advertisers or data brokers.

Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, and ask me to delete it. Email lenny@lennyal.com and it will be handled.
